I've been a My Chemical Romance fan since my middle school years, been following them since the Three Cheers album.
Gerard has been such a great influence in my life, I see him as not only as a role model but someone who knows how to follow his dreams and know exactly what he's doing with his life. He inspired me to start drawing and I'm grateful to him for that.
I'm such a huge fan I remember throughout 6th to 8th grade and a bit of my freshman year I was such an obsess junking over them. I would go on the internet and just collect picture of them, I never used them for any kind of purpose but for some reason I just saved them all on my computer, or when I found out they had cd's at barns and noble I went ecstatic mostly because I thought they were such a band that didn't exist in the area I lived in. So over time I collect their cd's and dvds, found magazines that had a small picture or one poster of the band. I tried to draw them but failed epicly. I would spend hours on youtube watching music videos and interviews, funny moments, covers, making of music videos. I felt like such a dedicated fan I knew how they became to be, the down falls and how they were progressing further as a band, their art was mind blowing to me.
But even of how much I love them and know so much and all the dedication I haven't been to a single concert yet.
So if I had a wish that was spared to me I like to go see them in concert one day and get to meet the people who actually changed my life to make me the kind of person I am now or directed me to become.
Thank you My Chemical Romance and especially you Gerard.
